***MEET MAGNOLIAD***



Hello and welcome! Here you will learn a little about MagnoliaD.

My real name is Donnette and I live in the magnolia state of Mississippi. Over the years, people have had trouble remembering my name so I just tell people to call me Dee. Hince the name MagnoliaD.

I have always loved creating things. I started crocheting when I was 9. Living in the country in the 50's, there just was not much to do. So my grandmother taught me how to crochet. As I grew older, I also developed a love for cross stitching which I did for a local frame shop for about 10 years. Then I got my computer and well, you know the rest of the story!

My web design creating began with my first computer and browsing people's personal sites. Snowglobes are what caught my eye and my curosity of how they could do that. That led to many hours of research and going through tutorials to see how it was done. Which led me to buying Paint Shop Pro and making graphics for my personal site. That developed into making sets for others to use.

Things that are most important to me are God, my family, and my closest friends. I have been married 39 years and counting; have 2 children, one girl, one boy, 3 grandsons and of course my granddog Willow. My dearest friend in the world is Karen who lives in Illinois. We met while our husbands were in the service and have stayed close even though we live away from each other.
